Article 7 – Applicable Law - Mediation - Disputes
7.1 Applicable law
Subject to any applicable mandatory rules, this legal notice is governed by French law.
7.2 Mediation
In the event of a dispute between the professional and the consumer, they shall endeavor to find an amicable solution.
If no amicable agreement can be reached, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator to which the professional belongs, i.e. the Association of European Mediators (AME CONSO), within one year of the written complaint sent to the professional.
Referral to the Consumer Mediator must be made:
- either by completing the appropriate form on the AME CONSO website: mediationconso-ame.com.

The Customer remains free to accept or refuse recourse to mediation and, in the event of recourse to mediation, the Parties are free to accept or refuse the solution proposed by the mediator.
7.3 In addition, in accordance with Article 14 of Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013, the European Commission has set up a dispute resolution platform to receive consumer complaints relating to an online purchase. 7.4 Disputes
In the event of a dispute with a user residing in a Member State of the European Union, the user shall have the option to bring suit before the court of his/her own place of residence, or before the courts of the Member State in which Izyls is domiciled. For its part, Izyls may only bring suit before the courts of the Member State in which the user is domiciled.
The court exercising territorial jurisdiction over the place of Izyls’s registered office shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute with a user residing outside the European Union, subject to the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which the user resides.
